How we do it
Ok, this is the really important part.

Are you paying attention? Not thinking about something else? Something that does not serve you well?

When a sad, bad, terrible thought appears: I feel it, work it, see it and then see how the opposite of that thought would look like.

It is interesting to experience what happens when I flip it 180 degrees, accept it neutrally - not about me anymore - it is just there -, then I see that perhaps the flip side is actually better.
​
When the flip side is better, I go with it and drop the old thought.
​
It is like a mind game that we can play with ourselves - and a game we can get better at with practice.
