What we get

What we get with thinking differently:​ We get less stress, worry and regret. We get clarity, focus and better performance.​

When we let go of thoughts that do not serve us well, pause and clear our mind of cluttering thoughts. Then we are better able to turn around the thinking in useful ways, adjust our emotions and perform better.

​

It is simple, not so easy, but actually not impossible either.

​

This is why we need to practice this skillset.

​

I find that it is like most things in life. For some it is easy and automatic already - simply "born that way", and perhaps for most of us, we have to work at it to make the change of thinking.

 

It is similar to learning anything in life in a way; playing an instrument, riding a bicycle/motorcyle, swimming, writing, drawing, coding, a new language, etc. - it requires testing - actually doing it and not just reading about it - and practice, lots of practice. And it usually works, that is the fun part!​​
